We are huge proponents of thinking about pay holistically - thinking about the entire compensation package together, rather than zeroing in on just base salary.
**Why? ****If you think about the entirety of your compensation package - bonus, commuter benefits, 401k, healthcare, etc. - base salary typically accounts for somewhere between 50 - 70% of the total value. However, too often we see individuals focus just on base salary - ignoring all of the other components that go into it and often leaving money on the table! 💸
